You can share hard drives, directories or files, on a computer once the network drivers have been installed.
Open the Explorer window and locate the directory to be shared. Right click the mouse on the directory name to display the popup menu, then select the Sharing option. The properties box will now be displayed with the sharing tab on top.
Tick the Shared As radio button to enable sharing. Edit the default share name as required, and/or change the sharing Access Type.
